Unpopular Opinion
I think people are too hard on Rae’s mom and Chloe. They’re just people trying to be happy and dealing with same emotions as Rae and everyone else. Very rarely are they maliciously trying to make Rae miserable. Cut them some slack. The same way Rae makes mistakes, they make mistakes too.
